This transposition of Machu Picchu draws on Paul Signac, a pillar of Neo-Impressionism. The Inca terraces and majestic mountains appear in a multitude of small dabs of blue, green, pink and orange. Inspired by Divisionism, this composition relies on the juxtaposition of distinct colours which, seen from a distance, create optical blends and subtle effects of light. A dazzling vision of the Peruvian site, in which the precision of Pointillism meets the grandeur of the Andean landscape.
