Scope of application
These general conditions are valid for all orders placed from the countries of the European Union, Switzerland, or the Principality of Liechtenstein with the online shop Galerie Mont-Blanc SA, hereafter the seller.
Offer and conclusion of contract
The presentation of the products in the online store does not constitute a binding offer but an invitation to order. By clicking on the "Order" button, the customer transmits a binding order for the products listed on the order page. The order will be confirmed by e-mail immediately after receipt. The sales contract only comes into effect if the seller confirms the dispatch of the goods by e-mail (order confirmation) or at the latest by delivery of the goods.
Price
The prices in this catalogue are quoted in the currency of the visitor's country, net, including VAT. Billing is done in euros. Items with a guarantee are subject to the conditions of the offer valid at the time of purchase. The guarantee takes effect on the date of delivery of the item, as evidenced by the accompanying document (invoice), which we ask you to keep carefully. Damage due to improper maintenance, failure to follow the instructions for use, or normal wear and tear is not covered.
Availability
Our commitment to deliver is null and void in the event of failure or non-compliance with supply deadlines on the part of our own suppliers, and insofar as this unavailability is not attributable to Galerie Mont-Blanc SA. In case of unavailability of a product, we will inform you as soon as possible.

Discount coupons
Galerie Mont-Blanc may distribute discount coupons entitling the holder to a reduction in the price of a purchase, either in absolute value or in percentage. The discount coupons can be used on all the products offered by the galeriemontblanc.com site, except for exceptions specified in the campaign accompanying the coupon or on the coupon itself. Each coupon specifies the minimum purchase amount, the online store where the coupon can be used and the coupon's expiration date. Certain products and categories may be excluded from the discount coupons. It is not possible to use multiple coupons for a single order. In case of total or partial return of the goods, the fraction of the price paid by coupon is not refunded.
Gift cards
The gift cards can only be used for purchases on the galeriemontblanc.com website. You can pay the possible difference between the amount of the gift card and the value of your order by any means of payment proposed on the site. The gift card credit is not interest bearing and cannot be refunded. It is not possible to use several gift cards per order. Galerie Mont-Blanc SA is not responsible for lost, stolen or illegible gift cards, nor for errors in the email address of the recipient of the gift card. Gift cards are transferable. It is forbidden to duplicate, edit or manipulate the gift cards.
Delivery and shipping costs
Available items are shipped by mail within 14 working days. Galerie Mont-Blanc does not deliver its parcels by post office box and does not deliver any merchandise to minors or those under guardianship, except with the written authorization of the parents or guardian.
For deliveries in Switzerland, France, Belgium, Germany, Austria and the United Kingdom, delivery is free.

Taxes and customs duties
Items shipped outside of Switzerland and the European Union may be subject to taxes, customs duties and other charges in the country of destination, hereinafter referred to as "Import Charges". By placing an order, the recipient of the order agrees to be designated as the importer of record in the country of receipt of the order and is responsible for the import charges. For each imported item, you authorize Galerie Mont-Blanc to designate a carrier to act as an intermediary with the competent authorities for the management and payment of import fees in the country of destination. In the case of an order placed as a gift or as an intermediary for another person, you agree to give the above authorizations on behalf of the recipient named in your order. For details of actual import charges, or to obtain documentation or receipts in connection with customs clearance, you may contact the designated carrier indicated in your shipment confirmation.
Return or exchange of goods
The consumer is entitled to revoke the contract by returning the ordered products to the sender within 14 days after receipt of the goods. No justification for the return of the order is necessary. The articles must be part of the catalog and must be returned intact and complete in their original packaging (with the labels showing their references), accompanied by the delivery note. The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. The revocation must be sent to the attention of Galerie Mont-Blanc SA, rue de Malatrex 38, 1201 Geneva (Switzerland).
Legal warranty
Check the delivered goods immediately for obvious material and manufacturing defects as well as for transport damage. In accordance with the law, you are obliged to notify us of any defects or anomalies in the goods delivered so that we can remedy them.
Data protection
All personal data will be considered confidential. The information necessary for the management of the order will be the subject of a data-processing treatment and can be communicated to associated companies within the framework of the management of the order.
Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
The applicable law is Swiss law, and any dispute will be handled by the competent district court.
