This transposition of the Sagrada Família draws on Robert Delaunay, one of the masters of Orphism, an artistic movement that places colour and light at the heart of the composition. Gaudí’s towers rise amid chromatic circles, arcs and geometric shapes in contrasting colours. Inspired by theories of simultaneous contrast, Delaunay explored how colours interact to create a sense of movement and depth, notably in his Circular Forms series. A vibrant reading of the Barcelona basilica, in which architecture meets the colour explorations of abstract art.
